Mornington Peninsula Freeway
Following the Mornington Peninsula Freeway is a straightforward route for travelling to Sorrento. From Boneo (where the Freeway ends), it’s a scenic, relaxed drive to reach Sorrento along Point Nepean Road. Visitors can also choose to take Melbourne Road, which begins in Rye.
It’s essential to be road safe when travelling to and from Sorrento. Take your time and take a break when you need to. Mornington Peninsula villages are great places to pull over and recharge with a bite. There are also various Pause Stop pop-up sites located throughout the region. Plan for your visit to the Mornington Peninsula, and take care on the roads at all times.
