Farmers’ Market

Beaches

Between hot summer days and brisk winter weeks, Mount Eliza beaches welcome all for a day of relaxing or exploring. Canadian Bay is suitable for swimming and fishing, while Davey’s Bay is also frequented by fishers. For all those who love to sightsee, there are colourful beach boxes to be spotted at Ranelagh Beach! As these beaches are not patrolled, care must be taken if deciding to swim. Scenic walking tracks wind their way above stretches of secluded sandy beaches.

Mornington Tourist Railway

Running on each Sunday of every month, the Mornington Tourist Railway is one of the most iconic experiences on the Mornington Peninsula. Journeying from Moorooduc to Mornington (and back), there are plenty of sights to see and fun to be had for the whole family. A Makers Market is held at the Moorooduc station car park on the first Sunday of the month, which can be explored pre or post-adventuring.

Heading back towards the main shopping district (intersection of Mount Eliza Way and Canadian Bay Road), a range of cafes, restaurants and eateries can be discovered. Whether looking for a laid-back lunch, a classic pub feed (the Canadian Bay Hotel is a must-visit!) or something tasty to enjoy by the beach, there’s plenty of reason to visit Mount Eliza for its delicious dining scene. Keeping on the food theme, make sure to check out Mt Eliza Village Fruits for the freshest produce alongside a range of top-notch gourmet groceries.
