What's New on the Mornington Peninsula - Showcasing Our Region to Visit Victoria

Each year, the Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board works closely with Visit Victoria to deliver our annual product update—a chance to spotlight the latest and most exciting developments across our destination. It's a moment to showcase what's new and what makes the Peninsula such a dynamic and evolving place to visit.

This year's update featured a mix of charming newcomers and bold reimaginings. From Butterken Bakery, breathing new life into Mt Eliza's village scene, to the serene and sensory beauty of Red Hill Lavender, the stories we're telling are as rich and diverse as the landscapes that inspire them.

The Mornington Peninsula Tourism Team also shared key updates from some of the region's major tourism operators. Highlights included the new The Sanctuary at Alba Thermal Springs and Spa, the beautifully designed Eco Lodges at Peninsula Hot Springs, and new partner The Cambium offering a spectacular new venue for immersive business retreats.

Innovation is happening across the board: from Main Ridge Dairy's new deck, Red Hill Estate's new location and restaurant offering, Crittenden Wines' new restaurant (set to open later this year), and Pt Leo Estate's Sip & Sketch art-meets-wine experience. Add to that fresh renovation updates from Hotel Sorrento and the Flinders Hotel, plus new arrivals like Motel Flinders, and there's a palpable sense of momentum across the region.

More experiences increase the visitor offering—from pickleball at Green Olive at Red Hill to the autumn spectacular Lightfall at Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne and major seasonal events like Easterland at Mornington Racecourse.

These updates are more than just a list of new products. They form part of our collaborative work with Visit Victoria to keep local and international trade teams and global markets informed, inspired, and ready to sell the Mornington Peninsula experience to the world.

"Every new product or experience on the Mornington Peninsula adds another layer to our story. Sharing these updates with Visit Victoria's teams ensures the region stays front of mind for interstate and international markets and continues to attract high-value visitors seeking the best of regional Victoria," said Angela Cleland, Chief Executive Officer.

As we look ahead, it's clear that the Mornington Peninsula's offering continues to evolve in ways that blend sophistication, sustainability, and storytelling. We're proud to represent such a vibrant and creative region—and to share it with the world.
