Pure Peninsula Honey

After moving to a farm on the Mornington Peninsula, Pure Peninsula Honeys’ apiarist John Winkels turned his hobby of many years into a full time business. John found two feral beehives, which he carefully monitored, tended to and eventually moved into boxes. This was the beginning of Pure Peninsula Honey.

Today, Pure Peninsula Honey transports bees to pollinate fruit, vegetable and seed crops across Victoria and new South Wales as well as producing beeswax and high quality cold extracted honey that is rich in flavour and goodness. Pure Peninsula Honey uses the beeswax and their honey to make honey related products such as honey ciders, honey ice-creams, lip balms, candles, moisturiser and soaps.

Come along for a free tasting to find your favourite honey and to read all the amazing facts about bees. Pure Peninsula Honey have mock apiaries outside and a live glass apiary inside, together with displays of tools that beekeepers use in their work. You will be fascinated by the live bee display, so you can see into the inner sanctum of the bee world in complete safety.
