Red Hill Community Market

The Red Hill Community Market is moving! After 49 years we are excited to announce that the market is relocating to the stunning Seawinds Gardens.  Starting on Saturday, 26th of October, the market will now be held from 9am to 2pm. While the date and location are new, you can still expect the same high-quality products, delicious food, and vibrant atmosphere in this breathtaking setting.

Red Hill has long been regarded as the 'grand dame' of Victoria's craft markets. Since it began in 1975 as a community-based event with 28 local producers and craftspeople selling and bartering their goods, it has grown into a beloved destination for handmade and Australian-designed treasures.

While bartering may be a thing of the past, the lively atmosphere, colour, and excitement remain. From old-world charm to modern contemporary designs, there's something for everyone—a labyrinth of unique finds just waiting to be discovered.

Our dedication to quality brings together talented stallholders who proudly produce original creations of the highest standard. It’s a feast for the mind, body, and soul—a fascinating mix of textures, materials, and colours that make up the vast range of individually designed products.

So, set your alarm clocks early and enjoy the best the market has to offer—whether it's our famous poffertjes or other tasty breakfast treats, an early arrival will help you avoid the crowds and enjoy a leisurely shopping experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to Seawinds Gardens and continuing our tradition of showcasing the finest handmade and Australian-designed products. Stay tuned for updates on future market dates, particularly as we approach the holiday season!
