Dromana to Arthurs Seat (Two Bays Walking Track)

Walk Difficulty This section of the Two Bays Walking track starts at the beautiful McCrae, winds its way up Arthurs Seat through the national park. It includes sections of the Arthurs Seat State park with amazing views of Port Phillip Bay, and the delightful Seawinds Garden featuring indigenous and exotic formal gardens, along with sculptures by William Ricketts.

Start on Point Nepean Road, next to the toilet block opposite the Anthony's Nose boat ramp, and walk up the steep staircase to the top of the cliff and onto Latrobe Parade. Follow the road over the freeway and turn left into Bunurong Track. Opposite a small dirt car park, the track continues. This is the start of the Arthurs Seat State Park. The winding rough and steep track traverses through the State Park with spectacular views as it winds along the hillside to the pretty Seawinds Garden.

This walk can be done in either direction or continued from Arthurs Seat to McLaren Dam as part of the longer 26km Two Bays Walking Track; identified by a circular symbol displaying a Blue Wren seen on signage along the track.
