Wine + Wineries

Wine just doesn’t get any better than this

Explore Mornington Peninsula wine at cellar doors and restaurants.

Mornington Peninsula wineries are some of the most celebrated in Australia. The region has gained a strong reputation for the cool climate wines of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, all with a true sense of place. A number of cellar doors also have restaurants to make for a superb wine and dining experience.

Phaedrus Estate

Phaedrus Estate was established in 1997. More than twenty years later Ewan Campbell and Maitena Zantvoort are still enjoying the challenge of making Pinot Noir and other cool-climate varietal wines, including Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Shiraz. 2017 saw the release of a new varietal wine- Fiano. There's also a sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay and dry Rosé to try at the cellar door.

Phaedrus Estate is open every weekend and has an extensive range of wines for tasting. If you're feeling peckish they also offer cheese platters. They have a maximum group limit of six adults. Dogs are welcome on a lead but must remain outside. For further details, please visit the website for all the latest information.

The team hope to see you soon at their small family-operated cellar door. Cheers!
