Alba Thermal Springs & Spa

The launch of Alba Thermal Springs & Spa in Fingal has represented one of the most anticipated openings on the Mornington Peninsula this year. And if you haven't yet had the chance to soak within their 31 open-air geothermal bathing pools or indulge in a luxurious treatment at the spa, this season makes for the perfect time to visit.

The InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula

Opening this year as part of the return of one of Sorrento’s much-loved icons, the InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula showcases seaside glamour at its best. Stay in the heart of Sorrento, relax by the pool and indulge in the three distinct dining experiences and onsite day spa which add to the luxurious experience.

Escape Brewing

Having opened its taproom doors in autumn, Escape Brewing has quickly become a place to visit for refreshing craft beers and tasty food. Set within the industrial area of Capel Sound, expect inviting and neighbourly hospitality when stopping by. Don’t miss the pool table and outdoor basketball ring for some added fun!

New Experiences

When it comes to new experiences, there are plenty to shine a light on! While Enchanted Adventure: The Home Of Tree Surfing in Arthurs Seat have welcomed three new tube slides, Boneo Discovery Park in Fingal are excited to introduce their new Rock ‘n’ Rope adventure! The tadpole zip line course has participants climbing and balancing their way through trees before soaring through the sky on a flying fox! For a bite to eat, make sure to stop by TAR BARREL Brewery & Distillery in Mornington for a taste of their scrumptious new BBQ menu. And don’t forget about the summer picnics at St Andrews Beach Brewery - a real treat for all!  This summertime, also make sure to check out the newly introduced Food Bowl at Peninsula Hot Springs in Fingal (with workshops and tours on offer) and Hotel Sorrento’s Shi Hui Shi restaurant - where Cantonese cuisine combines with a curated selection of cocktails.

Top Spots To Visit

So while these great spots are not new, they will be on the hotlist to visit this year!  Everyone loves a delicious sweet strawberry and this summer we see the relaunch of Rocky Creek Strawberry Farm in Main Ridge (formerly known as Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm). With ownership returning to the family that started the whole experience, everything old will be new once again! Finally, Pt. Leo Estate in Merricks is welcoming the much-anticipated return of their two dining spaces - the Pt. Leo Restaurant and Laura - from early December, following a tragic fire at the Estate in May. With new seasonal menus on show, the team here is ready to indulge you in an incredible wine, dine and art experience.
