Diwali is a Festival of Lights that illuminates the hearts and houses of celebrating communities and is a commemoration of faith and fortune.

This year, celebrations begins in late October with the main event held on Friday 1 November; Diwali (Deepavali). The annual festival is marked across five days determined by the Hindu Lunar calendar and signifies a triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and the profound human ability to overcome adversity.
