JimmyRum is the first craft rum distillery in Victoria and we are passionate about sharing our knowledge of rum. That’s why we have created unique events and experiences like this one.
We want you to get excited and enjoy the delicious flavors rum has to offer. Our distilling experience gives you the opportunity to get up close to where the rum magic all happens with our head distiller & founder of JimmyRum, James McPherson. Best of all you can take home your very own blend made on the day while learning everything there is to know about the rum-making process.
What’s Involved:
* A 3 hour interactive Rum experience showcasing behind the scenes of our distillery
* Start the morning off strong with a double espresso, tea or coffee
* A detailed history of rum from the rum loving expert himself
* Learn all about the JimmyRum journey as James shares his experience of setting up & opening the very first rum distillery in Victoria
* Enjoy a rum tasting experience across our 4 x JimmyRum products as we talk you through our distinctive JimmyRum flavours
* Taste the diversity of rum through additional rum tastings from around the world
* A guided tour of our working distillery while discussing the distilling process of other craft spirits.
* Blend your very own own 50ml bottle & take it home. Group experiences have the opportunity to combine your blend with your mates to make it into a bigger bottle, so you can enjoy together after all sharing is caring!
* We will have our cheese & meat platters available to enjoy throughout the morning experience.
