Christie Whelan Browne is one of Australia’s stars of stage and screen.

Best known for 6 seasons of Shaun Macallif’s Mad As Hell, she has also starred in Neighbours and The Wrong Girl. She was seen in Season 1 of Colin From Accounts and was a Grand Finalist on Dancing With The Stars. For the Melbourne Theatre Company she has played Gwendolyn in The Importance Of Being Earnest, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Rosalind in As You Like It, Mrs Cheveley in An Ideal Husband, Cecily in The Odd Couple and Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday.

She has starred in and received many award nominations for musicals for over 20 years, including, The Drowsy Chaperone, Grease, Shane Warne The Musical, Muriel's Wedding, Anything Goes and Company- to name a few.

She is the star of four one woman shows, Britney Spears The Cabaret, Show People, Vigil and Life In Plastic.
