The Music of Creedence Clearwater Revival holds a unique place in pop/rock history. The band had an almost unparalleled string of bona fide, genre defining hits in the late 60’s and early 70’s, at a time when popular music was evolving at an alarming rate. Their catalogue remains a statement of a unique and distinct mix of swampy country, rock, blues and pop.

To pay tribute to this iconic body of work, the Sydney based music collective “The Album Show” in conjunction with Ben Maiorana Entertainment, has put together a band of experienced and talented players and singers, playing all the hits from CCR’s career, a selection of important album tracks, as well as selected tracks from the solo career of main writer, John Fogerty. The lineup features Bathurst based Sophie Jones on guitar and vocals, Michael Carpenter on guitar and vocals, with Casey Atkins on guitar, Charlie Lee on bass, and Russell Crawford on drums.

The show weaves together unforgettable hits like ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’, ‘Born On The Bayou’, ‘Bad Moon Rising’ and countless others with a narrative describing the timeline and impact of this enduring and influential band, combined with striking visuals to create a memorable night of unforgettable music.
