Composing and performing his own songs since 16 years of age – releasing many independent studio recordings. A singer guitarist balladeer in the James Taylor / Jimmy Buffet vein who offers audiences personal stories and tales of global travels and experiences. Backed by a full band of talented musicians, this “Songwriters Series” concert in the Velvet Lounge will showcase a “Life Well Lived”. He established the “Al Fresco Social Club” Band on the Mornington Peninsula in 2020 & played internationally.

A Melbourne musician, Bennsong is a journeyman singer/songwriter who has been involved in the music industry for over 30 years. Benn has worked his craft and become a highly sought after entertainer and has gained a reputation as a fine vocalist. Benn has always written, recorded and performed his own original songs. His thoughtful, evocative lyrics and melodies captivating his audiences.
