Avani is excited to welcome back our good friend Cam Tay-Yap to the Cellar Kitchen for an exclusive two day event on Saturday 29th March and Sunday 30th March.
Cam has worked at renowned establishments including Attica, Omnia Bistro, and Amaru. In 2024, he was awarded Co-Young Chef of the Year by The Age Good Food Guide, and as head chef, played a key role in leading Amaru to achieve three Chef Hats.
Cam has designed a share-style, three-course menu for $95 per person (food only), featuring a lamb saddle with sambal, served in a sauce made with our crushed Syrah grapes! The menu also includes satay skewers paired with tamarind jam, and a white chocolate cremeux with kaffir lime and a rich gula melaka coconut caramel...yum!
As Cam says: "We are so excited to create two lunches celebrating the cross of malaysian and indian culture and have this party with everyone slinging coal, wine and great times over the weekend."
A vegetarian menu will also be available on the day but please advise of any dietary requirements in advance.
